Digital Business Development Manager

Exposure is looking for an individual who can uniquely extend the digital marketing team’s reach with existing and prospective clients. The ideal candidate for the Digital Business Development Manager role will have a strong background in business development, digital marketing, and strategy coupled with the ability to bring together clients’ unique marketing goals through a variety of tailored service offerings. In this role, you will develop strong client relationships and impactful marketing campaigns with the support of a collaborative and seasoned team.

This is a full-time, in-person position at our centrally located offices in Wallingford, CT.

Your position from day to day:

  • Manage all aspects of the business development cycle including but not limited to client communications, proposals, estimations, and presentations.
  • Spearhead business development communications including responding to new business leads, existing client proactive reach outs, and networking / presentation opportunities.
  • Develop new strategies and support current initiatives for Exposure to increase new client leads and foster relationships with existing clients.
  • Work with team members to facilitate the hand-off of new projects with clear communication of strategic goals as well deepen client engagements with supporting recommendations through implementation.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to provide insights into marketing performance and develop data-driven plans as part of ongoing client engagement and relationship growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, a Master’s degree a plus in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business development, branding, and/or marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Prior agency experience preferred.
  • Solutions-oriented with a proven track record of custom client solutions.
