For over fifty years, the village of Bronxville, New York has shown its dedication to continuing education through a rich and extensive learning program. And after the launch of a new web site in early February, the Bronxville Adult School hopes to reach even more lifelong students!

Administrators at the Bronxville Adult School decided it was time for a site redevelopment in 2010, and did their research by looking carefully at the web sites of similar programs across the country. They approached Web Solutions after seeing several of the continuing education programs’ web sites developed by the Meriden-based firm.
A primary goal of the Bronxville Adult School redesign was to enhance the site’s interactivity. Barbara Corcoran-Begert, Bronxville’s Executive Director, particularly emphasized the need “to become more user-friendly by offering an online registration platform.” To provide a streamlined, easy-to-navigate catalog, Web Solutions incorporated their proprietary Enrichment platform into the site, an update which brings convenience to the registration process at every level. Students can view the most up-to-date information about courses and sign up instantly, while real-time reports make the process more organized for the Bronxville staff.
Registration for Spring 2011 is now open, and hundreds of students have already registered for this semester’s offering of courses, presentations, and trips. Corcoran-Begert reports that the new web site “has been working wonderfully” for Spring registration, and that Bronxville staff and students alike are “very happy with the site’s new interactivity.”
Founded in 1957, the Bronxville Adult School is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and providing lifelong learning. Visit their new web site today at www.bronxvilleadultschool.org.
