With an increasing number of property owners looking to cut their energy bills, Peter Callan, Principal of Lantern Energy, saw the need for an updated, more informative website to make the company more visible and more accessible.
Callan approached Web Solutions for a complete website redesign. “I asked that it be cleaner, more user-friendly and interactive while also conveying to the customer who we are…essentially capturing our essence,” Callan recalls.
Web Solutions worked with Callan and Lantern Energy to create a user-centric website with plenty of engaging features. In addition to providing a wealth of information about the opportunities for and benefits of energy efficiency, the site offers seasonal energy-saving tips and an energy efficiency quiz, allowing users to test their “energy IQ.”
The new website is also a streamlined resource on both the front and back ends. Visitors can schedule an energy assessment for their home or commercial building with a convenient online form, while staff can log in to access documents, forms, and schedule information.
Callan describes his experience working with Web Solutions as “refreshing.” Though he knew fulfilling his company’s web development needs would “not be an easy task,” Callan recounts, “I quickly learned from the first prototypes that they got it…They listened to the ideas and passion of an owner and integrated what I call the ‘aesthetic experience’ into the final product."
