The Meriden Daffodil Festival began as a community event 35 years ago and has grown into one of Connecticut's premier celebrations. With food, crafts, music, fireworks, amusements and a parade that has to be seen to be believed, the Daffodil Festival is a springtime fun-fest for old and young, couples and singles, families and friends.
New for the 2013 festival is an informative website for the public to learn more about the annual event, complete with an online sign-up form for festival volunteers. Web Solutions, a sponsor of the Daffodil Festival, was tasked with designing and developing the user-friendly site.
Jane Earnest, who oversaw the development of the new website, noted, "We are extremely happy with the new site and believe it encompasses a wealth of information without overwhelming the user."
