The Chapel of the Cross, an Episcopal church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, launched an all new website.
“We wanted a website that would capture the essence of our church community; a place where people could come not just to learn where we are and what we offer, but to get a sense of who we are and the spirit of love and welcome that we hope to embody,” said the Reverend Noah Van Niel, Associate Rector. “With the incredible help from Web Solutions’ excellent team, we are so happy to have accomplished exactly that.”
The existing WordPress website was difficult to navigate and contained a large amount of information, so Web Solutions did a full site structure reorganization as well as a complete redesign including full-width landing pages for each of the Chapel of the Cross' top-level pages.
“We love the design aesthetic, the incorporation of high-quality photo and video imagery, and the ease of navigation,” said Van Niel. “But perhaps best of all we like how easy it will be for us to update the site and keep it current and fresh. Our website has now become a valuable tool for us to use as we go forward in our work.”
