Not sure what Adam’s issue is, maybe a bad burn of iso (did he check with md5sum?). My install to hd went like clockwork, easy to follow, and took approximately 15mins. The EasyInstall does work, but first you need to download the dream-update pack (info at the dreamlinux forum).
I downloaded the Xfce version, and it’s rather quick of the mark, boot to login took just 55sec’s!
Ive made a bit of hobby trying various distro’s, this is certainly a very good one and should prove solid and robust.

This works even better with Firefox extension FoxyProxy, which will allow to quickly switch between proxied and normal access, as well as add URL patterns for proxying.

A good review. Not much to add, except to mention that there are hundreds of great Vector Linux tutorials (based on Flash) available at http://opensourcebistro.com/. I used these when I updated Flash and installed the Google Chrome browser and Google Earth. But if you’re really new to Linux, you might want to view the Install and some of the other basic tutorials also. When you combine Vector Linux, its forums and wikis, with Open Source Bistro — you’ve got an excellent distribution with very good community support.

I’ve loved Apple products for some time, they produce technology that is aesthetically beautiful while working like a charm. That can’t be said about alot of companies, it’s typically one or the other. Tech businesses don’t usually take aesthetics seriously like Apple. With that being said I’ve got to say that I’m anxious about the new Tablet. One thing I question though, is it too soon? I think that this product may be ahead of its time. What do you think?

I am absolutely looking to purchase the Apple iPad, and I am amazed to see what kinds of appz and games will be developed for it. I just don’t get the idea some of the nitpicky criticisms in this website. Size of the bezel?? LOL!

xubuntu is 1000 times better than puppy and much easier to install.
